There is a common thread of communication emerging from my paintings of the past, resulting in new and some familiar images. This process weaves a web of conversations between all beings, human, animal, plant and birds ... even the inert objects all seem to have the ability to interact.
As I paint without intent, I am infatuated with the combining of colors, unaware of the end result until it happens. During this year, I began to design and create metal sculptures. They too, are reminiscent images and new images, mixed together finding a way to have that great conversation. like humans, searching for the right topic and gentle humor. The sculptures present a new mysterious dialogue. I find the more I learn, the less I know.
It is my hope, as you join me in observing this show, you will find a conversation that speaks to you, about you, and with you, bringing peace and harmony through visual interaction of the mind.
